Desert Rubies




Cactus Maiden, sharp of thorn,
How I wish that you were shorn
Of each deadly barb and lance—
Then I’d ask you out to dance!

The flowers are as if they are in a museum behing glass...here though, the cacti spikes protect the flowery art from he fingerprints of the hordes of tourists...
